Certificate in Logotherapy
- Associate -
The Certificate in Logotherapy credential is tailored toward offering a comprehensive overview of Viktor E. Frankl’s Logotherapy. It is suitable for individuals who wish to broaden their knowledge in order to apply Logotherapy in their personal lives, and professional activities. It is awarded upon the completion of the Introductory Course, the two Intermediate Courses, and one Advanced Course.
Diploma in Logotherapy
The Diploma in Logotherapy credential is awarded to individuals who undertook a systematic and thorough study of Logotherapy and who have demonstrated their understanding and skills in the applications of Logotherapy in their professional activities. This means the completion of the Certificate in Logotherapy and the Advanced Supervised Practice.
- Diplomate Clinician -
This track is tailored for individuals in the health care and related professions, who wish to apply Logotherapy in their clinical practice, and to share their knowledge with others.
- Dipomate Educator/Administrator -
This track is suitable for individuals who work in educational settings, management positions, or entrepreneurs, who wish to apply Logotherapy in their endeavours.
Program Overview
First Year
Minumim entry requirement: Graduate Degree or equivalent professional experience.
Second Year
Minimum entry requirements: Completion of Certificate in Logotherapy (Associate) and enrollment in a academic program leading to a Master’s or Ph.D. Degree.
Certification
Certificate of Completion is awarded upon completion of each course.
Certificate in Logotherapy (Associate) is awarded upon completion of the First year.
Diploma in Logotherapy (Diplomate Clinician) is awarded upon completion of the Second year, 1 year full-time (2,000 hours) relevant professional experience, and a Master’s or Ph.D. Degree in a health related discipline.
Diploma in Logotherapy (Diplomate Educator/Administrator) is awarded upon completion of the Second year, 1 year full-time (2,000 hours) relevant professional experience, and a Master’s or Ph.D. Degree in Education or Business Administration.
Accreditation
The Maritime Institute of Logotherapy offers Distance Education courses, leading to the Associate and Diplomate credentials in Logotherapy, and follows the official curriculum of the Viktor Frankl Institute of Logotherapy.
The Instructors are Diplomates in Logotherapy and Faculty Members of the Viktor Frankl Institute of Logotherapy.

The Viktor Frankl Institute of Logotherapy is approved by the American Psychological Association (APA) as a provider of Continuing Education credit.
