Viktor Frankl

Viktor Frankl, MD, Ph.D. (1905-1997), one of the most influential psychiatrists of the twentieth Century, observed that the most essential human motivating force is the Search for Meaning in Life. According to his theory, a strong sense of Reason and Purpose in life are essential for optimal living and wellbeing.

LOGOS is a Greek word for Higher Reason, Meaning or Purpose. The author of Man’s Search for Meaning, and several other books about his philosophy and psychology, known as Logotherapy, Dr. Frankl found his mission in helping others find Meaning in their lives.

His philosophy, anthropology, and psychotherapy have deep roots in the innermost dynamics of human existence. Building on these deep roots, his Logo-therapy strives to attain new heights in inspiring, and illuminating areas in which meanings can be found.
